Hare Krishna Prabhu, Thank you very much for all of these wonderful scans. I prefer them because it keeps the original look and feel to the books. I think I met you once at the festival in Calgary. I am still reading and chanting, practicing Krishna Consciousness and sharing the books around. Also I have embedded an index for all the files in Adobe Acrobat, so I can easily search terms through all the books in the original state. Might be handy for others who want to take advantage of this feature in Adobe. This is a very good resource. Thank you very much for your preaching work. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Which is a big book store on the road coming into Loy Bazar. It is at the T intersection of the main Loy Bazar road and the road coming from Bankhi Behari Temple. It is next to the well known Bankhandi Mahadev temple.

Hare krsna.. Pamho Prabhuji.. yesterday i downloaded Teachings of Queen Kunti n Prahalada Maharaja , both are woring.. but today i downloaded Nectar of devotion. Teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu n Sciencr of Self Realization.. I am not able to open dese files. its saying dat PDF format is unvalid.. Can you please help me..

The files on the server are OK but are very large. Most likely your download did not complete and you do not have the whole file. So I suggest just decide on what book you plan on reading now and try and download it again from a device with a good internet connection.

Civilization and Transcendence I am not sure really. It was published by BBT long after Srila Prabhupada left his body. I really do not know exactly were it came from. If you read in the book the BBT may tell you were it came from. It is very difficult to trust any of these new books printed by BBT because they make so many unauthorized changes. I read the books that were published when Srila Prabhupada was personally present. I do not read this Civilization and Transcendence because I can not trust it. It is most likely quite good but we can not trust the BBT unfortunately.

It is a large file, that is probably why you are having trouble with it. If you try with a different, better, internet connection you should be able to download it. The file is correct on the server. So I think it has to be your internet connection.

Very nice book, not published in Prabhupada presence but very soon after his departure in 77 or 78 from Prabhupada articles previously published in Back to Godhead Magazine. A very wonderful book. Very popular with book distributors and has made many, many devotees over the years.

Srila Prabhupada wrote this book after his health was deteriorating, and he was then working on Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 3 & 4. He stopped writing Bhagavatam mid-way and first wrote Krishna Book (which is actually based on the 10th Canto of Srimad Bhagavatam).

The book starts with a very deep preface where Srila Prabhupada writes that Krishna's lilas (passtimes) are for all sections of society. He says that just by reading Krishna's life and passtimes, one becomes purified and inches closer and deeper in spiritual life on its own.

And if you have got some time, read it as inspired from within. Many devotees have read Krishna Book in just a week also. Eventually, the desire to read it is important, and once you begin to read this book, you will just fall in love with Krishna. As mentioned earlier, it's very difficult to describe in words!
